It is a group of 4 towns: Sant Martí de Llémena, Granollers de Rocacorba, Llorà and Las Serres. It is the most western community of the Girona region, bordering the county of La Selva. The impressive cliffs that surround the village of Sant Martí de Llémena are home to prehistoric settlements dating back to the Neolithic, Chalcolithic, and Bronze Ages. As in the rest of the valley, there are rural landscapes and small villages of farmers and breeders. The plain of Sant Joan, between Sant Martí and Llorà, is a good sample of what the fertile nature of the region has to offer.
