The castle of Granollers de Rocacorba sits enthroned on the plain of Granollers, right next to the church of Santa Maria. Although the first documents that attest to its existence date from 1237, it surely already existed in the 11th century, when the feudal lords of the Barony of Granollers emerged. Significantly renovated in the 19th century, it is now used as a farmhouse. The main body of the building is a three-storey construction, distributed on both sides of a five-storey square tower.
