This small town offers a certain mountain charm. Located on the mountain slope, the panoramic balconies scattered here and there are as many invitations to contemplation. The whole village is made up of winding streets and ends at the pretty little church of Sant Jaume. Queralbs has long drawn its resources from livestock farming and mining, but nowadays it lives off the hydroelectricity produced in its territory, and from tourism. We recommend a short stop before heading to the sanctuary of Núria, by train or on foot for the more sporty, as the hiking trail is steep but beautiful.
