Molló, with its 300 inhabitants, is located in the so-called Ritort Valley, named after a tributary of the Ter River that flows at the foot of the hill on which the village stands. It is made up of nine small towns scattered here and there over the 43 km² that make up its territory, and its history is ancient, since it was a place where the Celts and Romans passed through. If its parish church is worth a stop, it is above all its beautiful animal park that makes Molló famous. Hikers can walk along the Camí de la Retirada, which connects Molló to Prats-de-Molló, following the path of exile taken by 100,000 people in January and February 1939.
