Dependent on Villalonga de Ter, this micro-village perched on a good-sized rock overlooks the Ter valley and its location has been strategic throughout its history. It developed around the old castle of Pelancà, a fortress mentioned as early as the 13th century and now in ruins. Strolling through its narrow streets you will discover the small church of Roca, which was dug out of the rock. Once you have reached the top, you will fully appreciate the view of the valley, especially if you have the good idea to come here on a full moon night.
