Its 7 km of pedestrian promenade along the beach make this seaside town an enviable coastal city, although without much character. But it does have a more pleasant casco antiguo and popular neighbourhoods such as Santa fe de los Boliches, an old seafaring district, and Pueblo López, with its streets of traditional Andalusian architecture. Nevertheless, the concrete has invaded the city and it remains totally devoted to the tourism of sol y playa. For this purpose, it has a concentrated hotel park and a large marina. Cosmopolitan, Fuengirola gathers a local and seasonal population with a thousand faces, Asia, India, Africa, Europe.
