Nestled on the banks of the river Ebro, the village of Cabañas in Ebro (500 inhabitants) has learned to live with the constant risk of flooding. In its baroque church dedicated to San Ildefonso (th century), the traditional altarpiece is replaced by a table representing the miracle of the saint.2 kilometres from the village, many vestiges dating back to the Roman era were discovered on the site of the «Cementerio de los Moros». It would obviously be a Roman castellum where currencies, amphorae and ceramic pieces were found.
