Tornavacas (1 200 inhabitants) is located in the Valdastillas valley, crossed by the river of the same name. This site was the natural passage between Castile and Extremadura, especially for cattle, since it was a route of transhumance. The parish church of Señora Nuestra de La Asunción (th century) is a baroque church. In the spring, the flowers in the valley offer a natural spectacle of all beauty.
