About 20 kilometres from the region of Extremadura, this picturesque village of more than 1,100 inhabitants is nestled in the mountains and isolated from everything. Linen hangs from the balconies of its half-timbered houses. A good smell of wood fire permeates its cobbled streets, often frequented by horses and donkeys. Around the Plaza Mayor, people talk. This is the heart of the village, surrounded by cafés and shops. Don't miss the Church of La Asunción, built in the 18th century, which contains a magnificent granite pulpit and a beautiful Gothic processional cross. This municipality is also part of the club of the most beautiful villages in Spain.
