The Cistercian Abbey of Lucelle had some properties. The territory of this small village has been inhabited for a long time, as evidenced by the Roman currencies found on the Kilbert mound. The site also contains tombs, presumably from the Carolingian era. But it's 1139, which is mentioned the name Luchesdorf. The activity of the commune will be maintained by several mills, rebuilt in the th century. You will notice the mill mill - 1808 - at 49, rue du moulin or the Moulin Bas, now restaurant. St. George's Church is worth a little detour.
