Built in the 17th century, the Chu Quen communal house is located on the banks of the Red River, in the territory of Chu Minh commune, Ba Vi district, Hanoi. It displays the typical characteristics of a communal house and the traditional wooden architecture of the Red River Delta. It is both a cultural and spiritual place. 50 km west of Hanoi, Chu Quyen dinh is reached by road 32, the road that first leads to Son Tay. After continuing westward for about 15 km, one reaches the dinh on the right, before the junction that, on the left, leads to the dinh of Tay Dang. By motorcycle, count about 1h30 of journey.
