Some 40 km west of Hanoi, the Luong Son valley is a nice destination for a weekend excursion or a stopover on the road to the northwest. Original accommodation solutions offer the conditions of a country stay, in contact with a preserved nature and on lands marked by the culture of the Muong ethnic group villages, very close to the Viêt by its origins, but which, from the social and cultural point of view, shares a lot with the Thai: houses on stilts, irrigated rice fields... The Luong Son valley can be reached by the road leading to Hoa Binh: on the national road 6, about 7 km after Xuan Mai, turn left.
