On Highway 450, just past the 10-mile marker, is the small village of Kamalo, which was once the commercial center of the island when the pineapple industry flourished on Molokai. All that remains of its cargo port is Kamalo Wharf, an abandoned wharf that provides a great view of Mount Kamakou. It is also a good fishing spot. But avoid the very tempting dives, as you might end up being eaten by... sharks. They love the area!
