205 km east of Las Vegas and 115 km north of Kingman, the West Rim of the Grand Canyon is not part of Grand Canyon National Park but of the Hualapai Reservation. It's a tourist hotspot that will appeal to travellers curious about new views of the Grand Canyon. Eagle Point is home to the Skywalk, a horseshoe-shaped glass walkway that towers 1,200 m above a canyon. This canyon runs parallel to the one through which the Colorado River flows. Peach Springs, the reserve's capital, and Route 66 are 80 km to the southeast as the crow flies.
