This archaeological site is one of the most important places of memory of the pre-Columbian Amerindian civilizations: it gathers numerous ruins, scattered, of buildings built by the Sinaguas, whose existence goes from 500 to 1300. At the end of the 12th century, Wupatki was the most important pueblo in the area.
