Until 1957, there was only desert here. With the construction of the dam, Page grew and today has a population of 7,500 in well-kept residential neighborhoods. On the northwestern edge of the Navajo Nation, the town is known for its access to the indescribable Antelope Canyon, located in the reserve. For it is for the beautiful nature that surrounds it that one travels to Page. Horseshoe Bend is another must-see. Travelers with time on their hands will also want to explore Glen Canyon National Recreation Area and its Lake Powell, as well as Vermilion Cliffs National Monument.
