Travel Guide Kolovesi

Located to the north of Savonlinna, the park can be reached via route 471 towards Enonkoski. Once in Enonkoski, follow the signs for a few kilometers. As with Linnansaari, Kolovesi covers an area of 23 km² in the Saimaa archipelago. Two islands, Vaajasalo and Mäntysalo, occupy almost the entire surface of the park.Information centers are available for information on hiking in the park, where to camp, and where to rent canoes and boats. For the rest of the year, information is available at the Linnansaari information center (located in Rantasalmi) or in Savonlinna.
