This small bush village is a pleasant stopover before heading to Palmarin, or when returning from there before heading to Ndangane. It is famous for its magnificent 752 ha rônier forest, classified as a biosphere reserve in 1979. You will be able to make very pretty strolls there on foot or by cart. At 2 km from the village, an ecological farm offers very interesting visits of its nurseries. On the road to Joal, stop for a moment in front of the big baobab tree, one of the most impressive in Senegal. And if you feel like it, you can negotiate to discover its hollow interior and observe a colony of bats.
