The Pays de Herve, although increasingly gained by urbanization, remains a green region, made of groves, hedges, orchards and beautiful villages. A few kilometres east of the country of Herve, we cross this famous linguistic border between the Latin world and the Germanic world.The municipalities of Welkenraedt and Plombières are the last francophone communes.
