Christnach is one of the most beautiful villages in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg and a model of renown in the region for the care it takes to safeguard and protect its architectural heritage. Its original name directly echoes, by its root, Christ. There are beautiful farmhouses, relatively old and well preserved, and nice walking paths. The old oil mill is preceded by a polychrome relief of Mater Dolorosa that seems to watch over its gate. The village is also well known for its golf course, which is very popular with the inhabitants of the area and which stretches to the east between Waldbillig and Müllerthal.
