Between Verviers and Spa, Theux is a small town in the old character of which the centre is still built of th & th century stone houses. On its triangular grand-square stands the typical town of the Country of Liège. Unique in Belgium, the curious church Saints-Hermes-et-Alexandre is a th century Romanesque church church with three naves with flat ceiling ceilings. Its large square tower instead recalls a dungeon.
