A village of about 600 inhabitants that houses two interesting neo-Gothic buildings: the Cistercian abbey of Santa María de Viaceli (1906) and the church of San Pedro ad Víncula (1891-1910), which is inspired by Norman architecture. With its two towers of more than 30 meters high and its pink color, it attracts the eye. If you take a short detour, you can also see the old mill of the village on the banks of the Presa stream, which then flows down to the sea in cascades. From here you can enjoy a beautiful view, and you can even walk a little further to the beach of Luaña with its fine golden sand, after about 20 minutes.
