To the west of Tudela is Cintruénigo (7,800 inhabitants), capital of alabaster. It is an industrial town with little charm, except for a 16th century church with a magnificent Renaissance altarpiece. On the other hand, it is the best place to bring back an alabaster object, buy a case of rosé wine from the Bodegas Gran Feudo, but also to buy furniture, as the town is also famous for being a furniture factory. Above all, one should not fail to treat oneself to a good meal in its famous Maher restaurant. Cintruénigo is also famous for its asparagus, artichokes and olives.
