Lytton is the rafting capital of Canada and is located at the confluence of the Fraser and Thompson Rivers. The area is rather desert-like and breaks records for summer heat (think about it if you're going hiking). The village has kept its Wild West feel and adapts its rhythm to the seasons and to the Nlaka'pamux people. The rivers are another playground for thrill-seekers. The town's historic buildings, which are still intact, bear witness to the town's glorious past during the gold rush. A unique destination of adventure and history that will not leave you indifferent. During your stay you can learn about gold panning and perhaps find some gold nuggets.
