The western village-like district of Pemberton includes the village, the valley of the same name and the Lil'wat First Nations community of Mount Currie, D'Arcy and Birken. In the aftermath of the 2010 Olympics, Pemberton has grown slowly, with a few buildings still affordable. Natural hot spring enthusiasts should try the Skookumchuck Hot Springs, among others.
