Joffre Lakes Provincial Park invites visitors to enjoy three emerald-turquoise lakes, accessible by a challenging hike. The park is located on the Duffey Lake Road between Whistler and Lillooet. The first lake is below the parking lot and is short and easy to access. The other two lakes, located at the foot of impressive glaciers, require a steep hike on rocks in part. It is necessary to plan the whole day for the round trip to the third lake. Provided you have a permit, wilderness camping is allowed within the park, allowing an experience in harmony with the place.
