7 km from Tena, on the bank of the Napo. Former river port, today, this village is not overflowing with activity. It is, on the one hand, the starting point of the road to Misahuallí and, on the other hand, the pier to Ahuano, located on the other side of the bridge, where there are several lodges. It is therefore mainly a stopover, but you can take advantage of it to discover a quiet town where less than 10% of the active population is dedicated to tourism. The town has no infrastructure for information or tourism development, but this should change in the coming years, as the region is rich in cultural and sporting activities.
