A village even smaller than its neighbours with about 8,000 inhabitants. Near the harbour there is a hotel called Norge where the writer Knut Hamsun used to come to write. The town has developed thanks to tourism, but mainly thanks to its maritime history. In the 1700s, the town started building ships. 1800 marked the real boom of the town. It's pretty cool to walk around the marina to see the boats and hear the sound of the masts clashing with the seagulls in the background. The town holds a few events in the summer, which can be seen on site or on the town's website
