After leaving Skagen, you join road 597 to drive along the northwestern tip of Jutland. From here, you leave the flat, almost deserted Skagen area and drive through a pine forest before arriving at a steeper coastline. You arrive in Hirtshals, a recent town, whose port has been developed since 1919, and which sees many ferries passing through on their way to Norway or Sweden. The region of large and beautiful beaches begins. You will come across a few seals on the sand to warm up in the sun. You will discover the marine flora and fauna of the North Sea in its giant aquarium!
