This small town delights the eye in spring with its blossoming countryside, but its main attraction is its particularly rich Gothic church. It houses a late-Gothic altarpiece, a15th-century painting, The Virgin with Six Fingers, and a beautiful Renaissance tomb (1607). From here, you can climb up to the Jauerling lookout point and take in much of this rolling, rural valley. Here you'll find traditional Austrian cuisine. A peaceful and pleasant stopover. A number of hiking trails and prehistoric remains to discover.
