This medium-sized town, capital of the northernmost province of Abruzzo, is best known as the gateway to the winter sports resorts of the Gran Sasso massif. Due to its geographical position, it enjoys a great number of assets, between mountains, vineyards and olive groves. However, it would be a shame not to stop in Teramo to stroll through its historic center, admire its duomo, the ruins of its Roman theater and amphitheater, before having a drink on a terrace to enjoy the student atmosphere of the city!
