From Pré-Saint-Didier, a road leads to La Thuile (1,141 m) and the Petit-Saint-Bernard pass. Situated in a large basin dominated by the Rutor glacier, ideal for skiing even in summer, La Thuile is a very popular resort in all seasons. In summer, it is the favourite destination for hikers on the Petit-Saint-Bernard pass. The foundation of the village church dates back to the 11th century.
