This chalet is a pretty building in the middle of the fir trees in a panoramic position above La Thuile, in the middle of the mountain, it has to be earned! To reach it, in winter, at noon, you can only get there if you know how to ski. In the evening, you can only reach it by riding the snowcat! With an elegant wooden room, the establishment offers a warm welcome to its guests. The speciality of the Maison blanche restaurant is without doubt the melted cheese, all the cheeses of the region, which is naturally combined with the Valle d'Aosta cold cuts.

More than a café, this restaurant is one of the best restaurants in La Thuile. On the menu you will find traditional dishes revisited in contemporary culinary creations that are really successful. The plates are beautifully presented. On the menu you can taste original Valle d'Aostan antipasti and the unavoidable fresh homemade pasta accompanied by truffles in shavings, the speciality of the house. There are also gourmet desserts made with virtuosity and a wide choice of carefully selected local wines.

The recipes served here vary with the seasons, and in summer or winter, we never offer the same dishes. You can opt for a menu with a choice of pasta, traditional fondue, polenta or raclette and dessert, or select dishes from the à la carte menu. The structure is housed in an old barn in the middle of the ski slopes in winter, and close to the Petit-Saint-Bernard pass road in summer. Deckchairs spread out on the lawn in summer and on the snow in winter, when a brazier warms the atmosphere.
