It's the grandest panorama in the Bas-du-Fleuve. Legend has it that, at Creation, the angel charged with distributing the islands and mountains emptied the rest of his bag here. What emerged were islands of great beauty. Bic is probably a diminutive of bicoque, or a typographical error: it should have read Pic. Today there's a village, host to some of the most charming inns and gourmet addresses, and a park, Parc national du Bic, which enjoys great popularity. In August, a chamber music festival is held here, as well as in nearby chapels and churches. A great concept combining music and nature!
