About 30 kilometres north of the city, this beautiful waterfall is almost 50 metres high and is made up of four cascades of the River La Laja. The walk is pleasant and the detour interesting for those who have a little more time. On site you will find some infrastructure, including hotels, several campsites and restaurants on site. In just a few years Salto de Laja has been transformed into a small village that has grown up along the old road to the south. In the summer, the place is crowded with Chilean tourists and street vendors, so try to get there out of season.
