This quiet fishing village, almost at the northernmost tip of Goa, attracts mainly budget tourists in search of tranquillity. There are no luxury hotels here, just a long beach and a few shacks where you can eat and drink. Arambol is a favorite vacation spot for neo-hippies, as evidenced by the many stalls selling large hangings with mandalas, psychedelic T-shirts featuring Shiva or Ganesh, tie-and-dye clothing, bhangs and other cannabis pipes. In short, it's not necessarily a place you'd recommend for a family vacation... Yoga, meditation, surfing and juggling are all on offer here.
