Hutovo Blato is a ornithological reserve and a marsh area located a few kilometers from Čapljina to the north and Metkovic (border) to the south. Coming from Mostar, follow the signs and turn after a small bridge to the left, towards the new direct road, before the village of Klepći. The M 17 is also accessed in the village of Klepći (at the entrance from Mostar). You then make 5 kilometers, cross the village of Gnjilišta, then follow the wooden panels. This bird nature reserve was created in 1954 and is 7,411 ha.
