In this small village, born from the will of the Count of La Petite-Pierre to install a glass factory in the nearby forest, a rare religious tolerance reigned: Lutherans, Catholics, Jews and Anabaptists lived side by side. The 19th century synagogue, the Jewish and Protestant cemeteries, the shepherd's house and traditional houses from the 18th century can be seen in Struth. In May, the scarecrow festival has been held for the past ten years, and some of the 245 inhabitants of Struth make their own scarecrow for the occasion, which they display in front of their door. An unusual visit to make with the family.
