Travel Guide Porto De Mós

Porto de Mós is one of the gateways to the Parque Natural das Serras de Aire e Candeeiros. This pretty village is dominated by an ancient fortress dating back to Dom Sancho (12th century), recognizable by the beautiful green roofs of its turrets. It is still well-preserved and offers a beautiful panorama of Porto de Mós and the surrounding area. Not far from the village is a well-preserved ancient Roman road. Walkers can take the circular path known as the "ecopista de Porto de Mós", which is around 16 kilometers long (6 hours).
