The most charming of the small villages, a concentrate of dorps with its church, its modest houses, streets of a very Swiss neatness, a pocket museum, some flowered inns, a natural reserve sheltering the rare mountain zebras and sweet bunches which produce the best liqueur wine of the country, a sweet wine which is tasted as an aperitif or as a dessert, in the style of the port. For a great view, and if the sky is blue, you should do the Red Stone Hills loop via the Groenfontein and Kruisriver track which leaves the village at Calitz Street, heading north towards the lake. There is nothing left to do but admire.
