To get to Salas, the route promises pleasant stops. The AS-227 road follows the course of the River Pigüeña to Belmonte. In Puente San Martín, we change to the AS-16 road, which this time follows the course of the Narcea, a salmon river. In Oviñana, about ten kilometres from Belmonte, a little off the route followed, at the confluence of the two rivers, you can make a stop. On the way, in Cornellana, you can visit the San Salvador monastery and its Romanesque church, just ask the village priest. Ten kilometres further on the N-634, Salas. There you can see the collegiate church of Santa Maria Maggiore and the church of San Martín.
