Nestled in the heart of the Nansa Valley, at an altitude of 238 meters, this beautiful village of less than 200 inhabitants, whose stone houses with flowered balconies have an old-fashioned look, seems frozen in time. All of Carmona is classified as an artistic historical monument. A Roman road used to run through the village, which was still used by Carlos I when he arrived in Spain to claim the crown. It is very pleasant to stroll through its picturesque cobbled streets that open onto the green mountains. Carmona is also famous for its traditional apricot shoes, which are still made by some of the village's craftsmen.
