About 25 km southeast of Santander, this peaceful stone village, one of the most beautiful in Spain, is located inland, in a hilly and bucolic environment. Its town centre, declared a site of national historic-artistic interest in 1978, is full of beautiful 17th and 18th century houses decorated with coats of arms, such as the Cuesta-Mercadillo Palace. It is also a thermal centre that uses the benefits of the river Miera. The program is imposed in the heart of a superb property, surrounded by large trees. It will be relaxation and discovery of the Cantabrian nature. There are many beautiful walks to be done in the surrounding area. For example, you can walk or drive to the Tetas de Liérganes, the suggestively shaped mountains overlooking the city! From there, you will have a magnificent view of the surroundings and the bay of Santander. By car, take the road from Liérganes to San Roque de Río Miera, for a breathtaking crossing of the majestic Cantabrian mountains. A superb dive into the interior of Cantabria...
