Travel Guide Agia Fotia

Located about 10 km from Ierapetra in the bay of the same name, Agia Fotia is a very pleasant village, set back from the road. There are a few options for accommodation and restaurants, as well as a nice beach and a pleasant wooded environment. Hikers can reach the north coast in about 5-6 hours by Vassiliki, 3 km south of the Agios Nikolaos-Sitia axis. The hike passes halfway through Agios Ioannis where there is a café. The path goes up to there (Agios Ioannis is at 500 m of altitude). The rest of the way is open: a hat will be useful for the occasion. Another option is to go down to Episkopi.
