This small village has a series of murals illustrating ancient local traditions and scenes of daily life. These open-air canvases are concentrated in the historic centre around the piazza Villanova. The fresco Su ballu 'e s'Arza evokes an ancestral Sardinian method of healing insect wounds. As for the fresco Sas mascheras Nettas, it refers to the masks of the Sardinian carnivals, a long tradition still preserved today. Situated at the foot of Mount Calvario and on the edge of the Tepilora Regional Park, the village is an excellent starting point for beautiful hikes.
