Following the tradition of some villages in Barbagia, Onani has painted walls. But here they are the work of a well-known local artist, Diego Asproni, who came to decorate the walls with his paintings in the 1980s. Other frescoes were painted by the students of the Brera Academy, on the theme of peace. The small Romanesque church of St. Peter was once the parish church. It has been replaced by the imposing Chiesa del Sacro Cuore (all things considered) which dominates the village. For those who love ruins, the remains of the small church of Santa Maria can be photographed at the exit of the village
