Second oracle of Greece after Delphi, Dodone is a magnificent site. In the mountains of Epirus dominated by the mounts Tomaros (1 974 m and 1 816 m), the ancient sanctuary occupies a site marked by a serene majesty. Should we be happy or worried? It is surprisingly little frequented. Perhaps it is because of its difficult access (very few buses serve it to and from)? Anyway, Dodone has one of the most important theaters of Antiquity, and an interesting history. Indeed, the oak of Zeus, having burned down during an attack, was replanted after the Second World War and it can once again give out its prophecies when the wind blows through its leaves...
