We are here between the Sioulet and the Chancelade, in a small village dominated by its Romanesque church and the ruins of the Roche-Briant castle. A place full of charm. The Romanesque church was built at the top of a hillock at the confluence of the Sioulet and the Chevalet in 1147. The promontory dominating the small village would have given its name to Miremont. Guillaume de Beaufort donated his right of sacristy on this church to the cathedral chapter of Clermont-Ferrand, when he left for the crusades. Do not miss the snail shell cemetery, which is the originality of the site. At the back, you can still distinguish the ruins of a castle.
