Bordered to the north by the Kavala forest, this village is worth a stop for its Panagia Kanakaria monastery. Once a mixed community, it is now populated by Turkish Cypriots and Black Sea Turks. To the south, a 5 km carriage road leads to small, uncrowded beaches.
