Bolifushi is a small island, which can be walked around in just 10 minutes. Opened in 1996, it keeps changing hands. In 2010, the 5-star Jumeirah Vittaveli Maldives replaced the modest Bolifushi Island Resort. In 2020, Ozen took over the reins of this little paradise. It is a collection of luxury resorts managed by the Maldivian group Atmosphere. The island has a very elaborate setting with a lot of construction and thoughtful vegetation that lacks a bit of naturalness. Rates are high, but many activities are included in the price, such as non-motorized water sports or a complimentary spa treatment.
